GIFTED - HIGH IQ

If the average intelligence of the people placed in a 100-point scale, the majority of the population is between 80 and 120 points.

People with an IQ between 120 and 130 are considered bright, with superior intelligence, and more than130 points Gifted we can talk about. Approximately 2% people are gifted.

The Gifted is commonly associated with a number of behavioral traits that could outline the following:

High sensitivity

Loss of attention, easily bored
Resistance to the authority if it is not democratic

Often emotionally unstable
Creativity, Intuition
Great thirst for knowledge, curious about the various things

But what is intelligence?

The dictionary defines it as the ability to understand or comprehend. Howard Gardner, author of the theory of Multiple Intelligences suggests eight kinds of intelligence: linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, spatial, naturalist, body-kinetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal. R.J. Sternberg talks about the tripartite theory of intelligence: analytical, creative and practical.

The Smart is born or made?
