GIFTED - HIGH IQ
If the average intelligence of the population are situated on a 100-point scale, the majority of the population is between 80 and 120 points.
People with an IQ between 120 and 130 are considered bright, with superior intelligence, and over than 130 points we can speak of Intellectual Giftedness.
About 2 of every 100 people are gifted.
Intellectual giftedness is commonly associated with a number of behavioral traits that could outline the following:
High sensitivity
Excessive energy
Loss of attention, easily bored Resistance to authority if not democratic
Pleasure in reading and / or math
Often emotionally unstable
Creativity, Intuition
Great thirst for knowledge, curious about many different things
Early development, adult early
Individualism
Great reasoning ability, and handling
But what is intelligence?
The dictionary defines it as the ability to understand or comprehend. Howard Gardner, author of the theory of multiple intelligences proposes eight types of intelligence: linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, spatial, naturalist, kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal.

Is born or made intelligent?
Intelligence is a genetic quality, such as blue eyes or brown hair, but during growth provides the right environment will develop more or less. If in the 1970s it was believed that 80% of intelligence is inherited, is thought to only 50% is due to heredity and the environment and education influence other 50%.
